What’s more comforting than a hot plate of pasta? Just because your kitchen is being remodeled doesn’t mean you have to lose the simple pleasure of homemade pasta with your family.
It really couldn’t be easier, simply add two cups of water per 7 ounces of pasta into your rice cooker’s bowl. If using spaghetti, linguini, or other lengthy pasta, simply break in in half to allow it to fit evenly in the bowl.
Cook on “white rice” or “quick cooking” setting until tender.
But what about the sauce?
After the pasta has finished cooking, pour in your sauce of choice and leave rice cooker on “keep warm” setting for ten minutes. Then serve and enjoy!
