Healthy Banana Ice Cream with Walnuts and Chocolate Chips

Once you try it, you won’t believe it’s vegan. Blending frozen bananas in a food processor leaves you with a delicious frozen dessert that is frighteningly similar to soft-serve ice cream. If you don’t have a food processor, a high-end blender or even a centrifugal juicer works well!

Shopping list (4 Servings):

  • 8 bananas, cut into small slices and frozen overnight
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

This recipe is as easy as it gets, simply blend frozen bananas and serve immediately with generous toppings of walnuts and chocolate chips. You may need to use the pulse function, let the bananas thaw for a few minutes, or even add a small amount of milk (coconut or almond milk are great) in order to get the right texture. Enjoy!
