What To Expect After Getting In Touch
The first step of the process is scheduling a phone call with Matt Williams, the owner and general manager. We will send over a calendar link for you to pick a time slot for your call. During this phone call, Matt will ask questions about your project goals, explain our process, and help determine if we are a good fit to take on your project. He will also provide some rough timeline and pricing estimates.
If your phone call results in a determination that we are well-aligned to work together, then you will have the opportunity to schedule an on-site consultation with Matt. During this visit, Matt will walk through your home in order to get a better sense of the existing conditions and how you would like to improve the space. This will allow us to provide a more accurate pricing estimate.
After receiving the updated pricing estimate, you can choose to sign a design agreement with us. Up until this point, all of our consultation services are complimentary. The design retainer fee is typically 5% of the project estimate. This fee is paid upfront and allows us to begin the design process. If the project is awarded, this fee will be applied to the contract price. Otherwise, the design retainer fee is retained as a service fee.
